What exactly happens when a customer calls?

The AI answers with your business name, asks how it can help, and works through a script I've built specifically for you. It captures the caller's name, callback number, service address, and what they need. For emergencies it transfers to your cell immediately. For non-urgent calls it takes the message and sends you an SMS within minutes.

Can the AI book appointments or give quotes?

No — and I'm upfront about that. The agent captures leads and routes emergencies. It doesn't book jobs or quote prices, because those require real judgment and real information I don't have. That's your call to make, not the AI's.

How long does setup take?

I spend two weeks learning your trade before your phone goes live. Week one is the discovery call and building your specific agent — learning your trade, your service area, what counts as an emergency for you. Week two is test calls and soft launch to make sure it sounds right before it goes live on your actual line. I don't take payment for setup until you've heard the agent and approved it.

Do I need to change my phone number?

No. You forward your existing number to me. Callers dial the same number they always have. If you want a dedicated line, I can provision one — but it's not required.

What if the AI gets something wrong on a call?

It will, sometimes — especially in the first few weeks. That's exactly why I listen to every call during month one and fix the script whenever something doesn't work right. After about 30 days the agent is dialed in for your specific business. You're not on your own to figure it out.

What happens after the first month?

Weekly script reviews drop to monthly. But if something urgent comes up — a new service area, a price change, an emergency escalation update — you call or text me and I handle it. No ticket queue, no waiting for a support team.

Is there a contract?

Month-to-month. 30-day notice to cancel. The setup fee is non-refundable once I begin configuration work, but the monthly service is cancel-anytime. I earn your business every month.

What's included in the setup fee?

A 30–60 minute discovery call, custom agent configuration (4–6 hours of work on my end), test calls, soft launch, and the first week of close monitoring. No payment until you've heard the agent and approved it.

No. The monthly fee is the monthly fee. I don't surprise you with overage bills at the end of the month.

Why doesn't LSA offer a $29/month tier?

Because at $29/month you're paying for software, not service. Those platforms are real products — if you want to spend 15–30 hours setting up your own AI, writing your own scripts, and fixing it yourself, they're a fine deal. I'm not competing with that. I'm competing with hiring a part-time office person — and I'm a fraction of that cost.

Can I try it before I commit?

Yes. The discovery call is free and there's no commitment. I'll talk through your business with you, build a sample agent script, and you'll hear it before I ask for setup payment. You don't sign anything until you've heard what I'd put on your line.

What happens to my phone number if I cancel?

It's yours. If you ported a number to me, I port it back. If I provisioned a new number for you, you can keep it or release it. No lock-in.

How is this different from Jobber's AI Receptionist?

Jobber's AI Receptionist comes bundled with their Plus plan and is available as a $99/month add-on on lower tiers. It works fine for what it is — a generic AI built to capture leads into Jobber's CRM. The differences when you hire me: I configure the AI specifically for your trade, I listen to your calls every week and tune the script as patterns emerge, and I filter spam and seller calls that Jobber's tool doesn't catch well. Jobber's AI is software you set up once and forget. Mine is a service I actively manage.

How is this different from cheaper AI tools like DialZara or Quo?

Those are real products. DialZara at $29 and Quo at $49 are legitimate options if you want software you set up and maintain yourself. With me, you're buying the work — the configuration, the testing, the monitoring, the script updates, the local accountability. If you'd rather pay less and do it yourself, those tools are fine. If you'd rather hand it to someone who runs it for you, that's me.

Can I cancel if it isn't working?

Yes. Month-to-month service with 30-day notice. First month is money-back guaranteed on the monthly fee — if at the end of 30 days you don't think it's worth it, I refund that month and I shut it down. The setup fee covers work already performed, so that's non-refundable, but the monthly is on me if it doesn't deliver.

When something needs to change, you file a ticket. With me, when something breaks, you text me. I'm one person in Houston. That's a deliberate choice — it means I can only serve about 20 local contractors, but the ones I serve get a real relationship instead of a support queue.
